This shelf was remarkably easy to install in our deep, under-counter framed cabinet. It took about 20 minutes (includes unpacking and reading directions). I suggest using a drill for pilot holes, a longer screwdriver to get into back of cabinet, and a flashlight so you can see easier. It went so well that I'm purchasing a second one to add on top of the first, doubling the space. They send wooden "spacers" so you can add a second shelf without having to use a level. The slide mechanism will take about 1" total (1/2" each side) from your available cabinet space, but the ability to slide this out makes up for the loss of that 1". It's well-built, sturdy, and I've got about 40lbs in it now and it glides smoothly on the runners. [...]
