I ordered the 12 and 24 pocket organizers not knowing how much space I needed. The 12 works perfectly for what I was looking to use it for. The 24 is longer than the doors I anticipate using it on. So many dress-up shoes and every-day shoes that it was impossible to see and select them. It was a big jumble in the bottom of her closet, under her bed, in dress-up trunks. This organizer allows you to see all the shoes very clearly and the pockets are of a size that allows my daughter to manipulate her shoes easily. It comes with metal flat hooks that hang over the door. We didn't use those and instead bolted the organizer to the door. Very happy with it.
