Made of stainless steel and food-safe ABS plastic, this probe is the prefect accessory for any kitchen and food prep area. Simply insert the probe into the food while it is in the oven or on the barbecue and the extra long sounding alert goes off when the food reaches the desired temperature. The alert mode allows the user to set a desired cooking temperature which is perfect when the user prefers a different temperature than has been pre-programmed.

The unit has been pre-programmed with 6 meat and poultry choices and various temperatures that are based on USDA safe cooking standards. The probe also includes instructions with candy and oil temperatures for when the chef wants to be creative and make more than a roast or steak. This multi-functional thermometer is equipped with a dual progress display which means you can see the type of meat being cooked and the taste preference along with the desired temperature next to the current temperature.

The big digits and instant readout of internal food temperature during cooking makes this gadget easy to use. The timer counts up and down by minutes and comes with a temperature guide that adds extra value. The probe also provides convenience by always being right at your fingertips. The control module can sit on a counter top, the magnet can attach to a fridge or other surface, the clip can attach to an apron or pocket or it can hang from a hook. Batteries are included so you can start cooking right away.
