The broom is equipped with an oval cross-section handle that provides a firm grip while sweeping. This handle is also soft to touch, providing utmost comfort when cleaning. The dustpan in the upright sweep set has rubber lip that is made of Santoprene, a special processed rubber. Santoprene is durable and resistant to daily wear and tear. The rubber lip on the dustpan keeps it firmly in place and ensures maximum contact with the floor when you are sweeping the dirt into the pan. The upright sweep set occupies limited storage space as the handles of the dustpan and broom snap together. The dustpan also turns upright when not in use.

A real back-saver, no stooping, no double sweeping, every little granule of dirt goes onto the flat rubber lip of the pan and then goes right into the pan itself, none of that sweeping under the pan stuff. I LOVE IT.
