Love this stool
By Dee from Camp Hill, PA on October 2, 2009
I love this stool. Renovated my kitchen and needed a stool to reach higher cabinets. Hangs handily in my basement stairway ready to use when I need it. It is just the right height, very sturdy and opens on a dime. However, closing is another matter. It's a hit or miss proposition when I press the red "close" button. Sometimes I have to work with it. Could be a flaw and probably should have addressed it with the company, but didn't bother. Other than that I'd recommend it.
Pros:
Efficient, Easy to Use
Cons:
Closing inconsistent
I would recommend this item to a friend.
Mini Step Stool

This stool is one of a very few that collapses into a small enough profile to be stowed easily in a two inch opening by your refrigerator or elsewhere in the kitchen without taking up a lot of room. This stool is very similar to the Black & Decker Stowaway stool sold many years ago and discontinued for some unfathomable reason. The maker would be advised to market this more aggressively as there is nothing like it out in the market now.
Pros:
Powerful, Simple Instructions, Easy to Use, Efficient
I would recommend this item to a friend.
Slim fit

If you want a step stool that folds up for a narrow storage space then this is the one.
I love it.
One word of caution: the release to fold flat can pinch fingers if not held properly. It is clearly identified but smaller kids could easily get their fingers pinched.
I don't have little ones so it's just great for me.
When folded up it is only about 1-1/2 inches wide.
