The curved body of the slicer is made from quality black Santoprene that is a processed rubber, giving you a non-slip, good grip even when your hands are wet. The Mandoline Slicer has a textured stainless steel runway that prevents slices from sticking to the surface. The hardened stainless steel blades come in various shapes and sizes with the unused side hidden for safety. You can set the straight and wavy blades to any slice thickness while using it to slice cucumbers, potato chips, onion rings and citrus slices. Use either the thick or thin julienne blades to make french fries, carrot sticks and other garnishing slices of your choice. There is no additional effort required to change the blades every time you need a new blade shape. Simply turn the soft dial at the side and select the slice thickness or julienne setting to your food dish requirement.

As a safety precaution, all blades are safely covered when not in use. The slicer has a soft handle that is set lower than the rest of the body to give you a comfortable grip while keeping your hand out of the way. Its wide, non-slip feet keep the slicer stable and secure on the countertop. It is extremely easy to store this slicer as all blades are stored on board for added safety and convenience. You can fold the legs in a compact manner while the food holder folds underneath the main frame. You can easily remove each blade from the Mandoline to clean it with ease.
