 Mounted on the side of my dryer because the kitchen is tiny and the food prep area is also the laundry area. :( No counter space to waste. Doesn't come off even though the dryer is affected by a violent spin cycle from the washer right next to it. :) Same for this line's towel bar and magnetic hooks, in the same location. I put mine above the workbench in the garage. I was lucky that my tool chest allowed for mounting so that I tear to the left. I looked at the picture and saw that it was good that way. I was a little surprised when I received it that I couldn't just turn it upside down to tear to the right. If you need to tear to the due to installation location or that you are left handed, look elsewhere. I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend it barring afore limitations mentioned.
