I use these for long term storage of frozen foods. Foods come out as fresh as they went in. The square shape is much better than most round storage containers.

I would have liked this more if the container was wider. Compared to containers on the market these days, these are okay but I have older Rubbermaids that I find much better than these.

I have used lock n lock for years and love it for my kitchen, but bought these large pieces for our medications and important papers as a part of emergency preparedness. You should have a month's supply of medications in a water tight container in case of natural or man-made disasters. I like the fact that these are see-thru.

Great Cigar Humidor

When our government was considering a $ 10.00 per
Cigar tax. I stocked up on Cigars. I soon ran out of wooden cigar humidor space.I placed 75 cigars
in a 38 cup Lock & Lock with a humidifer tube.
After a month my cigars were 70% humidity and after 3 month they were still at 70% humidity.
I had found the perfect humidor. I now have 24 lock & lock 38 cup (Humidors)containers.That is 1200 long filler Cigars that stay perfect until I want to smoke them. I use smaller containers for other items and I may even try them for food storage next.
