Open any size jar effortlessly with the OXO GOOD GRIPS® Jar Opener. Simply hold the Jar Opener by the handle, wedge onto the jar lid, and twist to open. The sharp stainless steel teeth on this Jar Opener grip the lid firmly, as the soft, non-slip handle cushions your hand and absorbs pressure.

All OXO good grip products use a material called Santoprene, a processed rubber with a soft velvety feel that doesn't break down when exposed to kitchen oils. It is dishwasher safe and non-latex. The material works particularly well for the flexible "fins" on the Good Grip handles. The Santoprene material's flexibility allows the fins to bend under pressure and conform to individual finger grips for comfort and control, and since Santoprene is non-slip, that control is maintained even when the handle or hands are wet.
