 I had an extra high closet rod put in my Master BR closet to utilize all that empty space up top. I put out of season clothing way up high, but occasionally need a long sleeve shirt, etc., and this tool, let's me get it down really easy. No more finding the stepstool, then unfolding it, putting it near where I need to be, then climbing up, not tipping over ;-), folding back and putting away once again. All I do now is grab my hook and viola, my item is down in a second! I LOVE IT! I realized I could use it to change quilts that i have hanging on rods too high to reach. So I bought 2 of them and my husband and I can change my hanging quilts easily without using a ladder.
