Love This Recipe Binder
By Mom Kinkelaar/Ring from Mahomet, IL on June 14, 2009
I originally bought this binder 3 or 4 years ago for my then-unmarried son and his fiancee as a Christmas gift. I filled the binder with "true" family recipes that my son and our family grew up eating, and for each recipe, I included a little background on why the recipe was important to us, when we made it, who it was from and why they were special, etc. My son and now daughter-in-law absolutely loved it, and have used it over and over when my son wants something "like Mom used to make when I was growing up". I have since replicated the binder for another son, my daughter, and myself, because it contains all of our often-used recipes, as well as all of our special occasion ones (like Christmas cookies or special holiday dishes). My kids love it!
Pros:
Durable, Lightweight, Easy To Use, Saves Space, Lots Of Storage
I would recommend this item to a friend.

Nice recipe book
By Pat from Houston, TX on December 23, 2008
This was a very nice item for my daughter who wants recipes handwritten for sentimental reasons. I do wish, though, that the recipe card fit entirely into a sleeve rather than just a single sheet separating one recipe from the next.
Pros:
Lightweight, Easy To Use, Attractive Design, Very Protective, Lots Of Storage, Durable
Cons:
Not Enough Storage
I would recommend this item to a friend.
Recipes for generations to come.
By Grette the Baker from Childersburg, AL on August 14, 2008
I wanted to make a recipe book for my granddaughters using family recipes and this binder was just what I was looking for, My first order was for two then, I expanded my list of those I wanted to include so I ordered four more.
"Treasured Family Recipes" is ideal for my need.
I needed to order some more recipe cards for it but the last time I ordered I could not find any place that I could order extra as I did on the first order. Many young girls in this generation do not know how to cook when they leave the nest, so this is a wonderful way for them to learn by having the recipes they have loved about home.
Satisfied customer.
Pros:
Easy To Use, Attractive Design, Very Protective, Needs an index sheet, Durable, Lightweight
Cons:
Needs and index sheet
I would recommend this item to a friend.
Loving It

I received this journal as a gift a few years ago, and have filled it with recipes, both new and old. The pages are a perfect size...I could never fit everything on a 3x5 card. The tabs do make recipes easy to locate too. I'd definitely recommend this for bridal shower gifts, or for that person who's just learning how to cook.
