This product does serve its purpose, but it does not have a locking feature to help the two pieces snap together when you have reached the maximum extending length. It would also be nice if the shelves were just a little bit deeper to accommodate the size of cans. The cans do fit on the shelves, but I find myself staggering them some because part of the can extends off the end of the shelf. It is still better than items getting hidden behind each other.
Make sure you have the clearance you need in your pantry to use the top shelf. Pros:Easy To UseCons:FlimsyI would recommend this item to a friend.
